Cloud Engineer - Multiple roles - Hybrid

An established technology consultancy is hiring multiple Cloud Engineers to develop and support AWS solutions for UK national security customers. Working within collaborative DevOps teams, you’ll help design, build, deploy and maintain applications and services that support critical operational capabilities. You’ll have direct contact with end users, contribute to technology decisions and take ownership across the delivery lifecycle.

What you need

• Strong hands-on AWS experience, using services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, ECS or EKS.
• Experience delivering Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation or AWS CDK.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash or Shell, alongside coding experience in at least one Lambda-compatible language.
• Experience using version control tools such as Git.
• An understanding of Agile delivery and DevOps ways of working.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with an interest in learning new technologies.
• Experience with containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring or observability would be beneficial.
• AWS certifications and knowledge of Linux, networking, microservices or API design would also be advantageous.
• Willingness and eligibility to undergo the high-level security vetting required for these roles.
