Cloud Engineer (Platform Integration) / AWS

Location: Pasir Panjang (Hybrid)

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain platform infrastructure, including provisioning, patching, scaling, monitoring, and ensuring high availability.
• Support technical onboarding by preparing integration requirements, including service accounts, API tokens, access permissions, and firewall configurations.
• Serve as the technical point of contact, providing integration guidance and troubleshooting connectivity and authentication issues.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain data connectors to enable seamless integration between agency systems and the platform.
• Monitor data ingestion pipelines, troubleshoot integration failures, and collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure successful data processing.
• Implement and maintain network connectivity, including firewall rules, VPN tunnels, and proxy configurations.
• Ensure platform infrastructure complies with government security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor platform performance, capacity, and system health, responding to incidents and outages.
• Support platform implementation, environment setup, and technical architecture discussions.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Support infrastructure automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Systems Administration.
• Hands-on experience with data integration platforms, API-based connectors, or ETL/ELT tools.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including firewalls, DNS, proxies, and VPN configurations.
• Experience managing service accounts, API tokens, certificates, and credential lifecycles in enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience in infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across network, authentication, and application layers.
• Good understanding of infrastructure security, access management, and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams and external stakeholders.

Good to Have

• Experience with cyber asset management platforms such as Axonius, Armis, ServiceNow CMDB, or Qualys.
• Familiarity with government IT security standards and compliance requirements would be advantageous
