Cloud Engineer(AWS)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in AWS infrastructure, .NET SaaS application support, and Microsoft SQL Server administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining secure, scalable, reliable, and high-performing cloud environments while supporting production operations, deployments, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure, including EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, Load Balancers, Auto Scaling, Route 53, CloudWatch, and AWS Backup.
• Support production and non-production environments for .NET / ASP.NET / .NET Core SaaS applications hosted on Windows Server and IIS.
• Administer IIS, SSL certificates, DNS, application pools, Windows services, and application deployments.
• Perform Microsoft SQL Server administration, performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, backup and recovery, and database security.
• Monitor infrastructure, application, and database performance; troubleshoot complex production incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure and operational tasks using PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting tools.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Maintain cloud security, IAM policies, patching, disaster recovery, and backup procedures.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve application availability, deployment reliability, scalability, and AWS cost efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or SaaS Operations.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
• Experience managing Windows Server, IIS, and production .NET / .NET Core applications.
• Strong Microsoft SQL Server DBA skills, including performance tuning, indexing, backups, restores, and database maintenance.
• Experience supporting production SaaS applications and troubleshooting application, database, networking, and infrastructure issues.
• Good understanding of cloud networking, including VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, DNS, and load balancing.
• Experience with AWS CloudWatch, monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills; Python or Bash is an advantage.
• Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, SSL/TLS, vulnerability management, and disaster recovery.
