Cloud Infrastructure Architect

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Architect responsible for designing, managing, optimizing, and ensuring the reliability and security of enterprise cloud infrastructure. The role will work closely with infrastructure, network, cybersecurity, application, and operations teams to develop scalable and resilient cloud solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, highly available, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure.
• Develop cloud architecture and infrastructure solutions based on business and technical requirements.
• Manage cloud environments, including compute, storage, networking, databases, and other cloud services.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, capacity, and security.
• Develop and implement cloud infrastructure standards, policies, and best practices.
• Plan and execute cloud migration, integration, and modernization initiatives.
• Ensure cloud environments are properly configured, secured, monitored, and optimized.
• Implement high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity strategies.
• Review and optimize cloud architecture, resource utilization, and operational costs.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement appropriate cloud security controls and compliance requirements.
• Work with development and infrastructure teams to support cloud-based applications and services.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and connectivity issues.
• Support infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools.
• Maintain cloud architecture diagrams, technical documentation, standards, and procedures.
• Evaluate new cloud technologies and recommend solutions that improve scalability, performance, security, and operational efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to cloud engineers and infrastructure teams.
• Participate in major incident response, infrastructure changes, and technical projects as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least one Associate-level cloud certification and one Professional-level Cloud Architect certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in cloud infrastructure management, cloud engineering, infrastructure architecture, or a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, infrastructure design, networking, security, storage, compute, and virtualization.
• Experience designing and managing highly available and scalable cloud environments.
• Knowledge of cloud migration, disaster recovery, backup, business continuity, and high-availability solutions.
• Experience with cloud monitoring, performance optimization, and cost management.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM/Bicep is preferred.
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD concepts is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, load balancing, and firewalls.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security principles, identity and access management, encryption, and security controls.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills.

Pay: Php80,000.00 - Php100,000.00 per month
