Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

If Azure is a big part of your work and you enjoy finding better ways to run an environment, this role is worth a look.

It’s an opportunity to join a law firm investing heavily in cloud infrastructure, automation, security, and AI. The infrastructure team is growing fast, with room to take ownership of projects and help shape how the firm’s cloud environment develops.

The manager has spent more than 20 years in legal IT and worked at several top law firms. He described this as the best firm he’s worked for as an IT professional. The IT team is treated with respect, and good budgets give them the resources to do their work well.

The role covers Azure and hybrid infrastructure, with a focus on automation, identity management, and modernization. Projects include improving cloud standards, supporting upgrades and migrations, and building better monitoring so the team can spot and address issues earlier.

You’ll get to build and manage Azure infrastructure through infrastructure as code using Terraform and Bicep. You will also be using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph SDK to automate everyday tasks, improve monitoring with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics, and work across Entra ID, Intune, and Microsoft 365.

Working alongside Endpoint Engineering and Security Engineering gives you a chance to broaden your experience and contribute to projects that connect infrastructure, identity, and security across the firm.

You get to take ownership of projects, share your thinking, and work through technical decisions alongside other teams.

The position offers competitive compensation and a hybrid schedule with work from home Mondays and Fridays.
