Cloud Infrastructure Manager

Role Overview

Manage cloud systems, vendors, documentation, architecture, and engineering support.

InfusionPoints provides managed security services for a large cloud infrastructure provider. This role supports a rapidly growing cloud service offering and serves as the primary SME for the cloud system.

The ideal candidate has 5-7+ years of experience managing enterprise information systems and hands-on expertise across SAN, virtualization, backup, networking, and security technologies.

Responsibilities

What this role owns.

Architecture and support

• Stay current on cloud computing trends, including federal government use.
• Provide engineering-level expertise for infrastructure engineering, implementation, and support.
• Assess and develop cloud architectures.

Management and coordination

• Manage relationships with multiple vendors and support organizations.
• Develop processes, procedures, and documentation.
• Support AWS, Azure, and Office 365 infrastructure needs.
• U.S. citizens only.

Experience

Background that helps.

• 5-7+ years of commercial or public sector experience.
• 3-5 years hands-on technical experience at the engineering level.
• 2-3 years managing implementation of large systems or projects.
• BS degree in Information Systems or related discipline.
• AWS or Microsoft technical certifications preferred.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CISA, Security+, GSEC, or CIPP are a plus.
