Cloud Infrastructure Manager/ Specialist

About the role

Our client, a major organisation is strengthening its in-house cloud capability and is hiring multiple talents. The role focuses on the connectivity, resilience and protective-control layer of a large private-cloud environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own or support the technical and operational management of private-cloud network and security infrastructure.
• Act as a domain SME and primary technical owner for service stability, incidents, maintenance and improvement.
• Manage network and security lifecycle activities, including patching, upgrades, evergreen planning, capacity and operational risk.
• Support architecture and operations across datalines, routing, network segmentation, firewalls, proxy services, direct connectivity, cloud firewall, WAF, ELB/load balancing, VPN and sandbox technologies.
• Troubleshoot complex connectivity, firewall, security and application-performance incidents.
• Lead or contribute to root-cause analysis, incident reporting, remediation and long-term improvement actions.
• Support infrastructure projects, platform enhancements and new application onboarding.
• Work closely with cloud architecture, application, security and other infrastructure teams.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, operating procedures and incident-response runbooks.
• Provide on-call and onsite support when required for critical production incidents.

About you

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking and security technologies, including routing, firewalls, VPN, proxy or load balancing.

• Private-cloud or hybrid-cloud experience; exposure to Huawei, Cisco, Palo Alto or Fortinet would be advantageous.

• Financial services, regulated or high-availability infrastructure experience is preferred.

• Proactive problem-solving approach with good written and spoken English and Chinese.
