Context

The DevOps Engineer Lead Expert is a critical role within the IT branch of AXA, an insurance company, responsible for driving the adoption and optimization of DevOps practices across the organization.

Service description:

• Provide strategic leadership and technical expertise to guide the implementation of DevOps principles, tools, and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline software development and deployment workflows.
• Identify and address bottlenecks, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall reliability and scalability of the IT infrastructure.

Missions

• Develop and maintain robust DevOps pipelines, ensuring seamless integration, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
• Implement and optimize monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Automate various IT operations tasks, such as provisioning, configuration management, and incident response.
• Mentor and train team members on DevOps best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Tools & Environment

• Tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Cloud computing platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and their DevOps-related services.
• Programming languages and scripting for automation and infrastructure as code (e.g., Python, Go, Bash).
