Cloud Operations Engineer

Work Location: Jalan Pinang, Kuala Lumpur

Essential Requirements

• Proficient in containers and Kubernetes (K8s), with many years of experience and multiple project experiences.
• Must be willing to follow a 7×24-hour duty schedule, including 1–2 night shifts per month.

Job Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the after-sales operation and maintenance support of private cloud products, including service inspections, emergency fault handling, resource expansion, version changes, and other related activities.
• Properly manage customer issues, continuously track stability risks and problems, ensure the stable operation of customer environments, and promote product improvement and optimization.
• Identify urgent and important customer events, promptly coordinate with backend resources to facilitate problem resolution, and minimize the impact on customer business.
• Continuously accumulate operation and maintenance experience, standardize operating procedures, strengthen the technical capabilities and service level of the team, and provide high-quality operation and maintenance services to customers.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with at least 3 years of practical experience in cloud computing delivery or operations.
• Fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin), with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in at least one mainstream cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, or Oracle, with knowledge of products such as AWS EC2, ELB, Azure VM, or VNet.
• Deep understanding of Linux operating systems, containers, and network-related concepts, including Kubernetes (K8s), TCP/IP, DNS, and VPC, with strong troubleshooting capabilities.
• Familiar with at least one scripting language, such as Python, PowerShell, or Shell, and capable of completing automation tasks.
• Understand operation change and data security-related standards, with strong compliance awareness and respect for the production environment.
• Possess strong problem-solving skills, a proactive working attitude, and good teamwork skills.
• Relevant cloud certifications, such as AWS Certified System Administrator or Azure Certified Administrator Assistant, are preferred.
