Cloud Operations Engineer

Provide operational support and management for cloud infrastructure hosted within the organization’s AWS environment, including:

• AWS Account Administration: Maintain production and non-production account structures, manage organizational policies, and process account requests, including onboarding and offboarding teams, users, and workloads.
• Identity and Access Management (IAM): Administer identity lifecycles, role-based permissions, privileged access, and access controls while maintaining audit trails to support security and compliance requirements.
• Network and Connectivity Management: Configure and maintain virtual networks, routing, network segmentation, ingress and egress controls, VPN and direct connectivity, DNS, certificates, load balancers, and firewall policies.
• Monitoring and Observability: Manage logging, monitoring tools, dashboards, alerting mechanisms, and infrastructure health reporting to ensure service availability and performance.
• 24/7 Incident Response: Provide around-the-clock on-call support for critical Priority 1 incidents, including detection, investigation, triage, mitigation, stakeholder communication, and post-incident reviews.
• Service Request Fulfillment: Handle operational requests related to access provisioning, environment setup, DNS updates, certificate management, and other cloud infrastructure services.
• Change, Release, and Configuration Management: Coordinate infrastructure changes through approved processes and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines where applicable, ensuring proper approvals, rollback procedures, configuration baselines, and alignment with application and platform release schedules.
• Patch and Vulnerability Management: Coordinate and execute patching activities and vulnerability remediation for applicable cloud infrastructure components to maintain security, stability, and compliance.
