Role Overview

We are seeking Cloud Operations Engineers to support customers running workloads on Alibaba Cloud (AliCloud) , including Kubernetes-based applications. The role focuses on cloud infrastructure troubleshooting, production operations, and customer support.

Candidates with hands-on AliCloud experience are preferred, but those with strong AWS experience and the ability to learn AliCloud are encouraged to apply. This is primarily an operations and troubleshooting role , not a cloud architecture or software development position.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues related to cloud infrastructure, primarily on Alibaba Cloud .
• Support customers running Kubernetes workloads , including clusters, deployments, networking, and application availability.
• Investigate incidents involving compute, networking, storage, access permissions, and service availability.
• Work with customers to identify problems and provide clear technical guidance and resolutions.
• Use cloud administration tools, command-line interfaces, and logs for troubleshooting.
• Escalate complex issues to engineering teams and coordinate through resolution.
• Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and recurring issues.
• Use basic scripting and automation to improve operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in cloud operations, infrastructure support, systems engineering, or technical support.
• Hands-on experience supporting AWS or Alibaba Cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure fundamentals, including compute, networking, storage, DNS, and IAM.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes , including clusters, pods, deployments, and common operational issues.
• Experience diagnosing infrastructure or application availability issues in production.
• Familiarity with command-line tools, log analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Basic scripting knowledge in Python or Bash .
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills for working with customers and engineering teams.
• Willingness to learn new cloud technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Alibaba Cloud services such as ECS, VPC, RAM, SLB, or ACK .
• AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, EKS, or ELB .
• Hands-on Kubernetes workload troubleshooting.
• Exposure to Terraform, Ansible, or infrastructure automation .
• Experience in technical support, production operations, SRE, or incident management.
• Experience supporting enterprise customers or large-scale cloud platforms.
