HOW A CLOUD OPERATIONS LEAD WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

You will design and manage cloud performance measurement systems, streamline response workflows, enhance automation, and integrate cloud operations with hosting, development, cybersecurity, and network teams.

You will engage with VA leadership to provide operational insights, incident reviews, capacity and demand assessments, modernization roadmaps, and reliability recommendations. You will drive continuous improvement by identifying operational gaps, optimizing autoscaling and orchestration processes, strengthening documentation, expanding automation, and maturing cloud performance management practices.

Your work ensures VA’s cloud environments remain secure, scalable, resilient, and mission‑ready.
