Your responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, build, operate, and improve reusable platform capabilities for application hosting, serverless computing, integration, databases, storage, analytics, and data services.
• Define supported platform patterns, service templates, consumption guidance, operational standards, and lifecycle plans.
• Provision and support secure, resilient, and consistent development, test, and production environments for application and data teams.
• Automate platform provisioning and workload deployment using Terraform or provider-native IaC, reusable modules, CI/CD pipelines, and controlled releases.
• Support containerized application platforms including cluster configuration, deployments, upgrades, scaling, and operational troubleshooting.
• Implement workload identity and access, secrets management, monitoring, backup and recovery, security controls, and policy compliance.
• Define workload network-integration requirements and coordinate implementation with the central cloud team.
• Manage incidents, changes, patching, root-cause analysis, capacity, performance, reliability, and corrective actions for platform services.
• Advance cost efficiency, governance, documentation, observability, service quality, and well-architected practices.

Collaboration and operational responsibilities:

• Participate in cloud architecture and design reviews, document technical decisions, identify risks and dependencies, and implement approved platform patterns.
• Work closely with application, data, infrastructure, security, architecture, and service-management teams to enable production-ready workloads.
• Translate application and data-team requirements into repeatable platform capabilities and self-service deployment patterns.
• Coordinate with Cloud Infrastructure Engineers for connectivity, foundational identity, shared security, resilience, and infrastructure dependencies.
• Participate in production support, major incident support, and planned change activities in accordance with the applicable support model.

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 4–6 years of hands-on cloud engineering or platform operations experience in enterprise environments; Azure experience is preferred.
• Experience supporting business-critical application or data platforms across production and non-production environments.
• Demonstrated experience automating infrastructure, platform services, and deployments through IaC and CI/CD practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, stakeholder collaboration, and documentation skills, with exposure to enterprise incident and change processes.

Skills required: -

• Strong hands-on knowledge of cloud compute, serverless, integration, database, storage, analytics, and data services. Preferred Azure experience includes VMs, App Service, Function Apps, Logic Apps, Kubernetes, Azure SQL, Storage Accounts, Synapse, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Proficiency in cloud networking, identity and access management, secrets management, security controls, and governance.
• Practical experience with Terraform or provider-native infrastructure as code, plus CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or equivalent and Automation using PowerShell, Python, shell scripting, or cloud CLI tools.
• Experience with Monitoring, logging, alerting, backup, disaster recovery, cost management, and well-architected practices.
