Job Description

1. Pre-sales Engineering & Solution Design

• Provide professional services expertise and technical support to the sales team throughout the sales cycle, focusing on building viable cloud solution architectures.
• Participate in client meetings to perform technical discovery, analyze infrastructure requirements, and design tailored cloud service solutions.
• Support the sales pipeline by creating architecture designs, technical tools, product demos, and competitive analysis.

2. Cost Proposal Creation & Validation

• Lead the development of technical service cost proposals and implementation plans, ensuring solutions are technically sound and commercially aligned.
• Evaluate cloud solution designs to ensure compliance with corporate standards, cloud security baselines, and governance frameworks.

3. Team Collaboration & Project Handoff

• Work closely with engineering, security, sales, and operations teams to ensure a smooth, well-documented handoff of projects from the pre-sales phase to the service delivery team.
• Gather technical feedback from clients to provide valuable input to the internal product team for continuous service improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 4–6+ years of proven experience in Cloud Engineering, Cloud Architecture, Technical Solution Validation, or Technical Pre-sales.

• Technical Expertise:

  • Solid practical understanding of cloud architecture, infrastructure components, and networking.
  • Strong exposure and technical knowledge of major hyper scalers: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Good understanding of cloud security standards and governance frameworks.

• Analytical & Commercial Capability: Ability to assess technical risks, design clear cost models, and effectively articulate value propositions to clients.

• Communication & Collaboration:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to explain technical subjects to both business stakeholders and engineering teams.
  • Proven ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams (Engineering, Security, Sales)

Cloud Engineer (Implementation)

Job Description Summary

Cloud Engineer (Implementation) is responsible for deploying, configuring, and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions across AIS Cloud (OCI), AWS, and Microsoft Azure environments. This role supports cloud migration, infrastructure automation, and platform deployment projects for enterprise customers. The position works closely with project teams to ensure successful delivery, security compliance, and operational readiness of cloud solutions.

Job Description

• Deploy and configure cloud infrastructure services on AIS Cloud (OCI), AWS, and Microsoft Azure.
• Implement and manage cloud networking components including VPC/VNet, Subnets, VPN, Security Groups, and Load Balancers.
• Support server, application, and database migration projects to cloud environments.
• Perform infrastructure validation, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates and automation scripts.
• Participate in CI/CD and automated deployment initiatives for customer environments.
• Support container platform deployment and administration on Amazon EKS and Azure AKS.
• Implement cloud security controls, IAM/RBAC configurations, and security best practices.
• Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and support project go-live activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
• 1-3 years of experience in Cloud Engineer, System Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, DevOps, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Strong understanding of cloud computing, virtualization, networking, TCP/IP, DNS, Routing, and VPN technologies.
• Experience with Windows Server and/or Linux administration, Git, and scripting tools such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Basic knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Bicep), Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and customer-facing skills, with the ability to work effectively in project-based environments.
