As our new Cloud Sales Specialist – Agentic Development, GitHub & DevOps, you will help customers modernize software engineering through GitHub, AI-powered development, DevOps, and cloud-native practices . You will drive new business growth by creating, shaping, and closing opportunities while expanding conversations into Data & AI where customer needs align. Working closely with partner ecosystems and technical specialists, you will play a key role in a strategic growth area for SoftwareOne.   Key Responsibilities

• Hunt, qualify, and win new business opportunities across agentic development, GitHub, DevOps, and cloud services
• Build pipeline through proactive prospecting, partner engagement, and targeted outreach activities
• Own opportunities from initial customer engagement through proposal, negotiation, and contract close
• Identify customer challenges and develop compelling commercial propositions that address business outcomes
• Expand conversations into Data & AI opportunities by collaborating with specialist teams
• Build relationships with stakeholders ranging from developers and engineering leaders to CTOs and executive decision makers

Job Requirements

• Proven success winning new business within software engineering, application development, DevOps, cloud services, or related technology markets
• Commercial mindset with the ability to lead negotiations and close complex opportunities
• Experience building pipeline and creating opportunities without relying on established market demand
• Understanding of GitHub, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, GitHub Advanced Security, Copilot, and modern developer toolchains
• Awareness of agentic development, platform engineering, developer productivity, and AI governance considerations
• Ability to communicate business value effectively with both technical and executive stakeholders
