Cloud Security Developer

About the role

Enterprises now run on hundreds of SaaS applications, and AI tools such as Claude Code, ChatGPT, Copilot, and Gemini are joining that list faster than security teams can track them. FortiCASB gives those teams visibility and control. Our platform connects to over 100 SaaS applications through their APIs, detects misconfigurations and data exposure, discovers shadow SaaS and shadow AI, and remediates risk automatically.

We are hiring a Cloud Security Developer to build the next generation of these capabilities and own the cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines they run on. You will have real ownership: a small team, a large surface area, and direct impact on how thousands of organizations secure their SaaS and AI stack.

What you will do

• Build and maintain connectors to SaaS applications such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Salesforce, Okta, and GitHub.
• Turn SaaS security research into policies, detections, and automated remediation mapped to frameworks such as SOC 2, NIST, and CIS.
• Help define and build our AI SaaS security roadmap: discovering AI applications in use, governing what data flows into them, and detecting risky AI integrations.
• Scale the data pipelines that collect, enrich, and index tenant data on Celery, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
• Own the AWS infrastructure defined in Terraform, including ECS services, networking, monitoring, cost, and incident response.
• Own the GitLab CI pipelines for build, test, deploy, and tenant provisioning.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years combining Python development and cloud infrastructure, ideally in security or SaaS.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs with OAuth 2.0, and working knowledge of SAML, OpenID Connect, and identity and access management.
• Understanding of SaaS security risks such as misconfiguration, external sharing, and over-privileged access.
• Production experience with AWS, Terraform, Docker, and a CI/CD system such as GitLab CI or Jenkins.
• Experience operating MongoDB or Elasticsearch and a queue system such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Enthusiasm for using AI coding assistants and agents to speed up development, testing, and operations. We use them daily and want you to push that further.
• Clear communication and comfort working in a distributed team.

Nice to have

• Kubernetes and Helm experience.
• Experience building LLM-powered features or agents, for example with LangChain, or applied machine learning for anomaly detection.
• Admin-level familiarity with major SaaS platforms and their security settings.
• Ansible or Playwright.
• Prior work on SSPM, CASB, DLP, DSPM, or SIEM products.
