Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Cloud Security Engineer to help secure cloud infrastructure, applications, networks, and data. The ideal candidate should understand cloud platforms, identity and access management, security monitoring, vulnerability management, and cloud security best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls across cloud environments.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure for security threats, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations.
• Configure Identity and Access Management (IAM), role-based access control, and least-privilege policies.
• Implement network security controls, firewalls, encryption, and secure connectivity.
• Support security monitoring, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and assist with remediation activities.
• Apply security best practices to cloud storage, databases, virtual machines, and containers.
• Support security logging, alerting, and audit activities.
• Assist with compliance requirements and security frameworks such as ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks, and applicable cloud security standards.
• Collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, development, and compliance teams.
• Document security configurations, incidents, risks, and remediation procedures.

Required Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of cloud computing and cloud security principles.
• Knowledge of at least one cloud platform: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Understanding of IAM, authentication, authorization, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, subnets, and firewalls.
• Understanding of encryption, key management, and secure data storage.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management and security incident handling.
• Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Familiarity with security logs, monitoring, and alerting.
• Understanding of common cybersecurity risks and secure configuration practices.

Preferred Skills

• AWS security services such as IAM, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and AWS KMS.
• Azure security services such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• GCP security services such as Cloud IAM, Security Command Center, and Cloud Audit Logs.
• Knowledge of SIEM tools such as Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and container security.
• Basic knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Understanding of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipeline security.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and ISO 27001.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security Specialty, Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate, or Google Cloud security certifications are an advantage.

Educational Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech, B.Sc., M.Sc., MCA, or an equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• Relevant cloud security projects, internships, certifications, or hands-on lab experience are preferred.

Experience Requirements

• Freshers: Candidates with cloud labs, cybersecurity projects, relevant certifications, or practical exposure to AWS/Azure/GCP are encouraged to apply.
• Experienced Candidates: 13 years of experience in cloud security, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, security operations, or related areas.
