Cloud Security Lead

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Lead / Technical Account Manager to lead a team of technical specialists and serve as the primary technical point of contact for key clients. In this dual-role position, you will drive the delivery, optimization, and continuous improvement of CDN, WAF, Mobile Security, and broader DevSecOps solutions while ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and account growth. You will combine strong technical leadership with hands-on account management, mentoring your team, resolving complex issues, and guiding clients toward stronger security postures and better utilization of their deployed solutions.

What You Will Do

• Lead and manage a team, assessing individual strengths and weaknesses, driving long-term technical skill development, and fostering a culture of professionalism, accountability, and high-quality client delivery.
• Provide senior-level technical guidance and act as the escalation point for complex implementation and support issues across CDN, WAF, Mobile Security, and related DevSecOps solutions.
• Utilize task-tracking tools to assign work, closely monitor progress, and ensure all customer deliverables are completed on schedule.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned clients, managing the technical aspects of their accounts and acting as the bridge between the client and internal technical teams/vendors.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver timely support, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues.
• Ensure high client satisfaction by maintaining clear roadmaps for enhancing and optimizing solutions within client environments.
• Manage project timelines, coordinate resources, and oversee successful delivery of implementations and ongoing services.
• Advise clients on technical best practices and provide a holistic view of their architecture to strengthen overall security posture.
• Identify opportunities to expand the scope of services and grow the account.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending improvements that enhance clients’ security capabilities.
• Mentor team members on complex technical matters and promote continuous professional growth.

What You Will Need

• At least 5 years of experience in enterprise IT cybersecurity, network/system infrastructure, and technical implementation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Previous experience in customer service/support, solution consulting, solution engineering, technical account management, or a similar client-facing technical role.
• Strong technical knowledge of cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, web applications, and DevSecOps practices.
• Proven leadership experience managing and coaching technical teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts using clear analogies and simple language to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Solid project management skills for coordinating resources and timelines.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based security platforms such as Akamai, Imperva, or Cloudflare (preferred).
• Experience with enterprise networking technologies including proxy servers, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS protocols, caching & content delivery logic, and load balancing (preferred).
• Professional-level networking or security certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, CySA+, ACP, ACE, or equivalent) will be given special consideration.
• Strong proficiency in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
