Cloud Solution Architect

We are looking for a 'Cloud Solution Architect' on behalf of our global business partner runs in Telecommunication Industry.

Position Overview

Drive public cloud adoption and business growth across strategic enterprise accounts in Türkiye. Understand customers’ business needs, application landscapes and cloud strategies to identify new business opportunities. Work closely with customers, internal cloud teams and HQ experts to develop competitive cloud solutions and move opportunities forward from initial assessment to POC validation and delivery handover.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business & Application Mapping (30%)

• Develop a deep understanding of assigned customers’ business models, strategic priorities, operating challenges, and digital transformation plans.
• Map customer organizations, stakeholders, business domains, key applications, workloads, infrastructure and existing cloud/on-premises environments.
• Engage customers in technical and business discussions to uncover requirements, pain points, decision criteria and potential cloud adoption or modernization opportunities.
• Maintain regular account insight reports covering business mapping, application mapping, technology direction, competitor presence, risks and potential opportunities.

1. Pre-Sales Solution Design & Opportunity Development (35%)

• Work closely with Sales and BD teams to identify, qualify, prioritize, and advance public cloud opportunities across assigned accounts.
• Translate customer requirements into fit-for-purpose Huawei Cloud architectures, solution proposals, architecture diagrams, migration strategies and implementation plans.
• Plan and lead technical workshops, proof of concepts (POCs), product demonstrations, architecture reviews and responses to RFPs/RFIs.
• Assess technical feasibility, estimate resource and cloud service requirements, articulate solution value, and address customer concerns throughout the sales lifecycle.

1. Competitive Intelligence & Customer Engagement (20%)

• Analyze customer use of and preferences for competing cloud platforms, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud; identify technical strengths, gaps, and differentiation opportunities.
• Develop account-specific competitive insights and recommend practical positioning, migration, modernization and cloud adoption strategies.
• Maintain ongoing engagement with customer technical teams and decision-makers, follow up on agreed actions and proactively remove technical blockers.
• Track opportunities, customer feedback, technical risks, and next steps; ensure insights are translated into clear actions with the relevant internal teams.

1. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Delivery Handover (15%)

• Collaborate closely with Delivery, Sales, BD, partners, product teams and HQ experts to develop solutions, validate feasibility, and progress customer opportunities.
• Coordinate technical handover to Delivery, clarify scope and assumptions, and support critical technical discussions during implementation when required.

Requirements

1. Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in cloud computing, enterprise IT, solution architecture, or a related technical role.
• Experience in pre-sales, technical consulting, customer-facing architecture, or solution development is preferred.
• Experience working with large enterprise customers and coordinating complex, multi-stakeholder opportunities.

1. Technical Skills

• Public Cloud: Strong understanding of public cloud concepts and IaaS/PaaS services; practical knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, or Huawei Cloud).
• Cloud Architecture: Understanding of compute, networking, containers/Kubernetes, microservices, load balancing, connectivity, and hybrid-cloud architectures.
• Application & Infrastructure Assessment: Ability to understand enterprise application architectures, dependencies, databases, storage, and workload migration or modernization requirements.
• Cloud-Native, Data & AI: Familiarity with cloud-native application patterns, data platforms, AI/ML, LLM applications, or AI agents is an advantage, depending on customer needs.
• Security & Operations: Understanding of cloud security, identity and access management, networking controls, data protection, monitoring, reliability, and governance.

1. Business & Competitive Analysis

• Ability to map customer business domains and application landscapes, understand technology decision factors, and identify where public cloud services can create customer value.
• Ability to assess competing cloud solutions, explain technical and business trade-offs, and turn analysis into actionable account plans and qualified opportunities.

1. Soft Skills

• Strong customer-facing communication, discovery, active listening, and requirement-analysis skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly through presentations, architecture diagrams, workshops, and written proposals.
• Proactive and analytical approach to identifying opportunities, following up on actions, and turning customer insights into outcomes.
• Strong collaboration and coordination skills across Sales, BD, Delivery, partners, product teams, and HQ experts.
• Results-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple accounts and opportunities in a dynamic environment.

1. Language Requirements

• English: Fluent speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills; English is a primary working language.

1. Preferred Qualifications

• AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or Huawei Cloud architecture certification.
• Hands-on experience with Huawei Cloud or another major public cloud platform.
• Experience with enterprise account planning, business/application mapping, cloud migration, or application modernization.
• Experience preparing competitive analysis, customer insight reports, solution proposals, or technical presentations.
• Experience supporting complex enterprise cloud opportunities from discovery through POC and delivery handover.
• Familiarity with IaC and automation tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience in one or more enterprise sectors such as financial services, digital assets/fintech, e-commerce, retail, manufacturing, or telecommunications.
