🚀 The project

Join an international project for a major European agency, working on complex data management platforms (specifically related to Integrated Fisheries Data Management - IFDM). This role combines Cloud Solution Architecture, Back-end Software Engineering, and Technical Product Ownership responsibilities. Key tasks include designing and maintaining scalable back-end applications; defining cloud architectures, landing zones, governance, security, and FinOps cost optimization; developing REST APIs and integrations; leading development teams through architecture and code reviews; and producing technical documentation and knowledge-transfer materials.

📌 Requirements

Education & General Experience:

University degree (Master's degree or 5 years of higher education) and 15+ years of professional IT experience.

Technical & Architecture Expertise:

Minimum 15 years of experience developing and architecting enterprise Java applications (Jakarta EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Node.js).

Minimum 15 years of experience with relational databases, complex SQL, database design, data modelling, XML/XSD, and scripting (Bash, JavaScript, PowerShell).

Minimum 8 years of experience with UN/CEFACT / FLUX standards and decentralized/centralized transport networks (e-Delivery, CCN, FLUX-TL).

Minimum 8 years of experience with WebLogic/Oracle DB, WildFly/PostgreSQL, authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, corporate EU SSO).

Cloud & DevOps Experience:

Minimum 5 years of application development on AWS (Elastic Beanstalk, DMS, Lambda, Glue, CDK, CLI, Athena, API Gateway, ECS, Workspaces, VPC, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, RDS).

Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud networking, cloud monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace), and containerisation (Docker).

Product Ownership & Leadership: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Product Owner.

Languages: English proficiency at B2 level or higher (both spoken and written).
