POSITION TITLE: Cloud Solutions Architect

JOB OVERVIEW:

This is a senior-level, hands-on and client-facing role responsible for designing, building, implementing, and supporting secure and scalable cloud solutions. The Cloud Solutions Architect will work directly with clients to translate business and technical requirements into solution architectures and will actively participate in building and deploying those solutions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, build, deploy, and support scalable and secure cloud solutions.
• Lead client technical discussions, discovery sessions, and solution design.
• Develop architecture designs, implementation plans, and technical documentation.
• Build and automate cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), scripting, and CI/CD technologies.
• Configure and integrate cloud services, networking, security, identity, monitoring, APIs, and automation.
• Design and implement AI and Generative AI solutions, including LLMs, RAG, AI agents, APIs, and enterprise data integrations.
• Build AI proofs of concept and support implementation into production environments.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud, application, integration, and deployment issues.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and support to engineering and delivery teams.
• Evaluate and implement new cloud, AI, automation, security, and monitoring technologies.
• Support technical proposals, SOWs, solution demonstrations, and estimates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience required.
• 8+ years of experience designing and implementing large-scale, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure and solutions.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying cloud infrastructure on AWS, with Microsoft Azure experience preferred.
• 3+ years of experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure deployment automation, and integrated QA/testing workflows using tools such as Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
• 2+ years of experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and server provisioning automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef, or equivalent technologies.
• 3+ years of experience with Linux administration, server automation, and scripting.
• Proficiency in Python, including experience developing AI-powered applications, APIs, and automation workflows.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git, Bitbucket, or Subversion and application development using Agile methodologies.
• Experience designing and implementing large-scale, high-availability applications and infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing AI and Generative AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, and prompt engineering.
• Experience with cloud AI platforms such as Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, or Amazon SageMaker.
• Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and cloud services.
• Understanding of AI security, governance, data privacy, monitoring, and responsible AI practices.
• Strong communication, presentation, and client-facing skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business solutions.
• Experience with AI development frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or Semantic Kernel preferred.
• Experience deploying and supporting AI solutions in production environments preferred.
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or equivalent cloud architecture certification preferred.

• A competitive pay range of $145,000 - 155,000 (depending on experience).
• This will be a hybrid role based in Plano, TX.
• 15 days per year of Paid Time Off (PTO).
• 8 paid holidays + 1 personal floating holiday
