Cloud Solutions Architect (Pre-sales)

About the role

We are seeking a strategic and client-facing Cloud Solutions Architect to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will act as a trusted technical advisor to our clients, partner closely with the sales team to design winning GCP architectures, and optimize customer cloud expenditures. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, deep architectural knowledge, and a passion for solving business challenges with cloud technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate directly with clients as a trusted technical advisor to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical architectures, and present proposed solutions.
• Partner with the sales team by providing technical consultation to prepare them for client pitches, and actively participate in client meetings to validate solutions.
• Analyze and manage customer cloud billing accounts, proactively identifying cost-saving measures (FinOps) and efficiency strategies (e.g., resource right-sizing).
• Design secure, scalable, and cost-effective high-level cloud architectures on GCP tailored to client requirements.
• Provide expert technical consultation and solution validation, accurately scoping technical components and estimating required effort for proposals.
• Collaborate with the internal engineering team (Senior/Junior Cloud Engineers) to ensure that the proposed architectures are seamlessly transitioned for actual deployment.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging GCP services, including Generative AI (e.g., Vertex AI) and serverless technologies, to introduce innovative solutions to clients.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 3-5+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture, Pre-sales Engineering, or IT Consulting.
• Deep architectural understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-native solutions.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently speak with clients, gather requirements, and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience in FinOps, cloud cost optimization, and resource estimation.
• Professional Cloud Certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) are highly preferred.
• Proficient in Thai and excellent command of English (Reading, Writing, and Speaking).
