The Role

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Specialist to join an IT team in an international and dynamic environment.

This role will focus on designing, implementing, and optimizing AWS cloud solutions, supporting application migrations, infrastructure automation, and the adoption of microservices architecture.

What you’ll be doing

• Design and implement cloud architecture solutions, primarily within AWS environments.
• Support the migration of existing applications to the cloud, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation tools, frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure, focusing on performance, availability, backup, and recovery.
• Implement cloud security best practices and identify opportunities for architectural and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Cloud Infrastructure and Development teams, supporting cloud adoption and microservices implementation.

Must-have requirements

• Several years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar role, working on complex IT environments and projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS .
• Practical experience with Kubernetes and Terraform .
• Experience with AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit) .
• Advanced knowledge of networking, security, and virtualization technologies.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application-related issues.
• Availability for international travel.

Nice to have

• Experience with serverless architectures.
• Background in Java development.
• AWS certifications.

Languages

• English – Good proficiency, both written and spoken.
• Portuguese - Nice to have
