Cloud Systems Administrator

Job Overview

Kindlebit Global Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cloud Systems Administrator to support cloud infrastructure, server environments, and internal technology operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud platforms, Linux systems, networking, server administration, and troubleshooting.

This position will support the configuration, maintenance, monitoring, security, and optimization of cloud and server environments while working closely with development and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and monitor cloud infrastructure and server environments.
• Administer AWS, Google Cloud, or similar cloud platforms.
• Manage Linux-based servers and virtual private servers.
• Perform server installations, migrations, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and resource utilization.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, hosting, networking, and server-related issues.
• Assist with cloud migrations and hosting environment transfers.
• Configure and maintain DNS, SSL certificates, and web server environments.
• Support backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery procedures.
• Implement server hardening and basic infrastructure security measures.
• Assist with deployment and automation processes.
• Maintain version-control and infrastructure documentation.
• Support database environments and coordinate with development teams when required.
• Monitor system logs and investigate technical issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, changes, and maintenance activities.
• Provide technical support for infrastructure-related requests.
• Perform other systems administration duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience in systems administration, cloud infrastructure, or a related IT role.
• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, or similar services.
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of networking, DNS, SSL, firewalls, and server security.
• Experience with server troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to document technical procedures clearly.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple technical tasks and priorities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with development teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, VPC, Route 53, or similar services.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or AWS DevOps tools.
• Experience with Git or other version-control systems.
• Knowledge of Apache, Nginx, LAMP, or LEMP environments.
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with cPanel, WHM, Plesk, or similar hosting platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud automation and deployment practices.
• Understanding of server hardening and security best practices.
• Experience with website migrations, backups, and recovery procedures.

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
