CloudOps Engineer (Mid - Senior Level)

Job Summary

We are looking for a CloudOps Engineer to manage, support, and optimize multi-cloud environments and mission-critical systems. The role focuses on maintaining high availability, performance, security, and operational efficiency while driving automation, DevOps practices, and continuous improvement.

The CloudOps Engineer will work closely with SRE and cross-functional teams, provide technical support and escalation, troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, and contribute to engineering projects that improve cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize multi-cloud environments to ensure high availability, performance, security, and reliability.
• Collaborate with SRE and cross-functional teams to support mission-critical systems and services.
• Act as a technical escalation point for user and infrastructure support issues.
• Lead troubleshooting, investigation, and systems administration activities.
• Identify operational issues and recommend solutions to improve system reliability and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, operational reports, and technical documentation.
• Support data analysis and automation initiatives to improve operational processes.
• Implement and maintain DevOps and CI/CD practices across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Contribute to cloud engineering projects and technical programs from planning through implementation.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on cloud platforms, infrastructure, and services.
• Provide technical guidance and influence cloud operations strategies and objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement and technical excellence across cloud operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of hands-on AWS experience.
• Hands-on experience with at least one additional public cloud platform, such as:
• Microsoft Azure
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Alibaba Cloud
• Experience with cloud architecture or solution design is a plus.
• Proven experience implementing DevOps and CI/CD practices across public, private, or hybrid cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Git, GitLab, GitHub, Artifactory, Jenkins, TeamCity, or Spinnaker.
• Experience deploying and managing applications using Kubernetes.
• Strong experience in technical customer support, particularly involving systems, infrastructure, cloud platforms, and services.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with SRE, engineering, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• AWS or other relevant cloud certifications are preferred.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a hands-on CloudOps/Cloud Engineer with strong AWS experience, exposure to multi-cloud environments, and solid knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and infrastructure operations. They should be comfortable handling technical escalations, troubleshooting complex issues, working with SRE teams, and leading cloud engineering improvements.

Pay: Php100,000.00 - Php200,000.00 per month
