Incident & Operations Support

• Handle and manage escalated incidents received from Level 1 (L1) and NOC teams.

• Perform Level 2 (L2) troubleshooting for the following areas:

  • AWS infrastructure issues
  • EC2 server-related problems
  • Storage failures
  • Network connectivity issues
  • VPN connectivity issues
  • Backup and recovery failures
  • High CPU and memory utilization alerts
  • Disk utilization alerts
  • Service outages

• Ensure timely resolution of incidents within agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines.

• Coordinate with Level 3 (L3) engineers and external vendors for complex or unresolved issues.

• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major incidents and provide detailed reports with corrective and preventive actions.

AWS Infrastructure Administration

Compute Services

Manage and support:

• EC2 instances, Auto Scaling Groups, and Launch Templates
• AMI lifecycle management
• ECS / EKS basic operations
• AWS Lambda troubleshooting

Storage Services Manage:

• EBS volumes and snapshot management
• S3 and EFS storage services
• Backup monitoring
• Database support

Perform basic administration and monitoring for:

• RDS, Aurora and DynamoDB

Server Administration

Linux Administration – Support:

• Amazon Linux, Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat

Tasks include:

• User management, log analysis
• Service restarts and patch management
• Performance troubleshooting
• Shell scripting

Windows Administration – Support:

• Windows Server 2016/2019/2022

Tasks include:

• RDP troubleshooting
• Windows patching and service management
• AD integration support
• Event log analysis

Change & Maintenance Activities

• Execute approved change requests
• Perform server reboots, scaling, and storage expansion
• Manage SSL renewals, patch deployments, and configuration updates
• Ensure proper documentation and rollback procedures

Monitoring & Alert Management

• Monitor AWS environments using Amazon CloudWatch
• Investigate alerts and implement corrective actions
• Fine-tune monitoring thresholds and alert policies
• Ensure service uptime and operational stability

Requirements

Mandatory Skills:

• 3–5 years’ experience in cloud infrastructure support
• Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
• Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Cloud Practitioner, ITIL Foundation
• Strong hands-on AWS operations experience
• Experience managing production environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills in Linux, Windows, networking, and AWS services
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewall concepts, and load balancing
• Familiar with ITSM/ticketing systems

Preferred Skills:

• MSP / Managed Services experience
• Exposure to Kubernetes or Docker
• Familiarity with DevOps concepts
• Basic scripting and automation skills
• AWS cost optimization knowledge

Good to Have:

• Automation and scripting using PowerShell, Python, or AWS CloudFormation
