CLUSTER DIRECTOR OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

About the role

To lead hospitality technology strategy, digital transformation and IT governance across Hemisphere Corporation Sdn Bhd's hotels, resorts and convention centre operations, ensuring secure, reliable and integrated technology platforms that support guest services, revenue systems, property operations, events management and business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the Group's hospitality technology roadmap to support hotels, resorts and convention centre operations, including property systems, guest-facing technologies, revenue platforms, event systems, data governance and digital transformation priorities.
• Oversee technology infrastructure, connectivity, systems availability and operational support across hotels, resorts, convention centre facilities and corporate hospitality functions.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives that improve guest services, operational efficiency, data reporting, revenue performance, event management and employee productivity.
• Ensure cybersecurity and data governance compliance.
• Manage PMS, POS, ERP, revenue management systems, booking engines, guest engagement tools, event management platforms and other hospitality technologies to ensure integration, reliability and user adoption.
• Support implementation of new hospitality technologies.
• Develop IT policies and governance frameworks.
• Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery planning for critical hospitality systems, guest services, payment platforms, event operations, network infrastructure and data assets.
• Manage IT vendors and technology contracts.
• Prepare annual IT budget and strategic investment plans.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years' IT leadership experience, preferably with responsibility for hospitality technology platforms, cybersecurity, digital transformation, vendor management and business continuity.
• Hands-on experience supporting hospitality systems such as PMS, POS, ERP, revenue management platforms, booking engines, guest-facing technologies and event or venue management systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of hotel PMS, POS and hospitality technologies.
