About the Position

HRPlacers is hiring an experienced Cluster IT Manager for an established industrial group operating in Nigeria.

We are seeking a hands-on IT professional with strong network administration, IT infrastructure project management and technical support experience.

The selected candidate will manage plant network infrastructure, execute IT projects and support user systems, CCTV surveillance, biometric attendance and access control systems.

This is an on-site position requiring regular movement across plant areas to inspect, troubleshoot and maintain IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain plant network infrastructure, including routing, switching, firewalls and wireless systems.
• Plan and execute IT infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines, quality and stakeholder coordination.
• Provide hands-on technical support for desktops, laptops, printers and network connectivity issues.
• Monitor and maintain CCTV surveillance systems to ensure performance and availability.
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot biometric attendance and access control systems.
• Maintain network security, configure VPNs and manage firewall rules in accordance with IT policies.
• Prepare and update network diagrams, IT asset inventories and project documentation.
• Coordinate with external vendors for hardware, software and maintenance services.
• Conduct regular plant inspections to ensure IT systems remain operational and secure.
• Troubleshoot network and infrastructure problems and coordinate their resolution.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• 7–10 years of hands-on experience in network administration and IT project execution.
• Strong technical knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs, OSPF and STP.
• Practical experience with SonicWall or Fortinet firewalls.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV surveillance and biometric systems, including installation, maintenance and fault resolution.
• Experience providing end-user IT support and resolving technical issues.
• Ability to manage infrastructure projects and coordinate vendors independently.
• Excellent communication, troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• Willingness to relocate to Nigeria and work actively across plant locations.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in manufacturing plants or industrial environments.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP or PMP will be an added advantage.
• Strong hands-on technical ability rather than purely administrative IT management experience.

Salary and Overseas Assignment

Monthly Salary: USD 2,000–2,200, depending on experience and final selection.

The position is based in Nigeria. Recruitment coordination and applicable joining formalities will be handled through Mumbai, India, subject to confirmation of the employer's process.

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
