MEDICAL ASSISTANT / LPN

JOB SUMMARY

Seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support clinic operations, assist providers with patient care, and perform clinical and administrative duties for patients of all ages.

RESPONSIBILITIES

✔ Room patients and assist with patient flow.
✔ Administer injections, immunizations, and medications as directed.
✔ Perform specimen collection, phlebotomy, and laboratory testing as needed.
✔ Assist with prescription refills and prior authorizations.
✔ Provide telephone, front desk, and patient communication support.
✔ Stock supplies and perform X-ray duties if qualified.
✔ Collaborate with providers and the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.

SCHEDULE

Rotating six-week schedule with 12-hour shifts, including weekdays and weekends. Schedule may change based on operational needs.

REQUIREMENTS

Medical Assistant Candidates:
✔ High school diploma or GED.
✔ Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program (ABHES/CAAHEP) OR an eligible accredited RMA program with required experience and certification exam completion.
✔ Current BLS certification.

LPN Candidates:
✔ Active Minnesota Practical Nurse (PN) license at submission.
✔ Current BLS certification.
