Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medication Aide to join our healthcare team. As a Certified Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to patients and assisting healthcare professionals in various clinical and administrative tasks. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.

Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures
• Obtain and record patient vital signs, medical history, and other relevant information
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
• Perform basic medical procedures such as wound care, catheter care, and specimen collection
• Assist with medical documentation and maintain accurate patient records
• Provide support to patients and their families by answering questions and addressing concerns
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain infection control standards

Requirements:

• Valid certification as a Certified Medication Aide
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and equipment
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
• Ability to work well in a team environment
