About the Role

We are seeking a visionary CMF Consultant to bridge global cultural trends, luxury aesthetics, and cutting-edge material innovation into actionable design strategies. In this role, you will define and shape the future look, feel, and touch of next-generation products by leveraging your deep connection to the European fashion, luxury, automotive, and material innovation ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Trend & Cultural Translation: Translate global consumer shifts, cultural insights, and macro-trends into actionable CMF concepts and strategic innovation pipelines.
• Aesthetic & Material Direction: Apply an exceptional sensitivity to colour, texture, and finishes to craft world-class, premium design strategies.
• Ecosystem & Network Engagement: Tap into European fashion, luxury, and sustainable material networks to identify emerging resources, supplier partnerships, and breakthrough material technologies.
• Cross-Sector Innovation: Integrate design language and sensory expectations from high fashion/luxury with technical constraints from consumer electronics and automotive design.

Key Requirements

• Industry Experience: Proven track record in CMF Design, Material Strategy, or Trend Forecasting across Fashion/Luxury combined with Consumer Electronics or Automotive/Mobility sectors (experience across both hardware sectors is a strong plus).
• Aesthetic Excellence: Refined artistic direction, exceptional visual sensitivity, and a strong track record of defining advanced CMF direction.
• Network & Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of premium consumer expectations and established connections within the European design and material innovation ecosystems.
