About the Role

A precision manufacturer is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to support dimensional inspection and quality control.

This is a hands-on role responsible for creating, modifying, and running CMM inspection programs, interpreting drawings, evaluating inspection results, and working with Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve quality issues.

What You’ll Do

• Create, modify, and optimize CMM inspection programs.
• Operate CMM equipment to inspect precision components.
• Perform dimensional inspections to drawing and specification requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Record and evaluate inspection results.
• Identify dimensional and quality issues.
• Work with Engineering to improve inspection methods and resolve problems.
• Support corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Use precision measuring equipment including calipers and micrometers.

Required Experience

• Hands-on CMM programming experience.
• Experience programming Mitutoyo CMM equipment.
• Ability to create and modify inspection programs independently.
• Strong blueprint and technical drawing interpretation skills.
• Experience with precision dimensional inspection.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, and related measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Preferred

• Experience working with Engineering and Manufacturing teams
• Corrective action / root-cause experience
• Inspection fixture experience
• Precision manufacturing background

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
