2 week rotating days and Nights, OR

Permanent night shift

Position Summary
We are looking to recruit CMM and Manual Quality Inspectors to join our aerospace manufacturing facility at Mansfield (Crown Farm).

This role is ideal for an experienced quality inspector or CMM operator who enjoys hands-on inspection work, combining manual measurement with the operation of CMMs using existing programs.

You will be part of a supportive inspection team, with clear responsibilities and direct access to the Inspection Supervisor for guidance and escalation.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operating CMMs using established and validated programs
• Carrying out manual dimensional inspection using equipment such as: Micrometers, verniers, height gauges, bore gauges, etc.
• First-off, in-process, and batch inspection
• Supporting First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRS) through accurate inspection data and documentation
• Interpreting engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications
• Completing inspection and dimensional reports
• Identifying non-conformances and raising them appropriately
• Ensuring all inspected parts meet aerospace quality requirements
• Working in line with company procedures and quality standards
• Communicating inspection results directly with the Inspection Supervisor

Skills & Experience

• Experience in a CMM operator and manual inspection role
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Confident use of manual measuring equipment
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and tolerances
• Experience within an aerospace or similar manufacturing environment preferred
• Familiarity with CMM software such as PC-DMIS and/or CAMIO

(experience with other CMM software packages is also acceptable; direct PC-DMIS/CAMIO experience is not essential)

• Good attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £15.86-£17.27 per hour
