• Lead technical requirements and product solutions internally and externally, from acquisition through project launch.
• Define functional and non-functional hardware requirements and ensure alignment with system-level specifications.
• Oversee circuit design, schematic development, and hardware documentation (e.g. EMC test plans).
• Review and validate worst-case analysis for thermal and electrical performance, to ensure reliability and safety.
• Supervise electrical simulations of sub-circuits using industry-standard tools (e.g. PSpice).
• Coordinate ESD, EMC and electrical testing at certified laboratories and ensure compliance with automotive standards.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for deviations from electrical specifications.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (software, mechanical, and system engineering) throughout the product lifecycle.
• Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering technical excellence and knowledge sharing within the team. Specialized knowledge and skills:
• Strong expertise in embedded hardware design for automotive comfort systems, including analog/digital circuit, power management for 12v/48v systems, and CAN/LIN communication.
• Proficiency in Schematic design, PCB layout, and simulation tools such as PSpice.
• Solid understanding of EMC/ESD compliance, electrical robustness testing, and automotive standards like ISO 26262, AEC-Q100, and OEM-specific requirements.
• Familiarity with EDA tools (Altium, OrCAD) and lifecycle management platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and customer interaction.
