该职位来源于猎聘 Pre-award stage The role envisages a wide range of responsibilities. The position would require involvement in contracts for procurement of equipment and construction works for the NLMK Group under the supervision of the Head of Contracting. Location: China. Optional relocation to Russia for Russian-speaking contract manager to support Functions: Develops key contract terms as a part of contract strategy. Risk, feasibility analysis regarding contract strategy. Customizes term sheets and contract drafts based on typical contracts of the company. Analyzes contract drafts in terms of contradictions between commercial and technical terms and conditions. Review of other contract related documents (e.g. consortium agreement), which will form the contents of RFP. Review of contractual part of offers. Develop pre-award schedules for contract drafting and approval, report to project manager, supervise implementation. Organize meetings and negotiations. Prepare materials for negotiations. Arrange contract approval with corporate departments by accommodating to their requirements or responding to their requests. Draft protocols, meeting minutes, arrange their approvals. Post-award stage Keep track of lessons learned in contract management. Revision of contract text, keeping the master copy. Training project team to work with the contract. Contract risk management: collect the data, assess the risks, submit reports to project risk management experts. Develop strategy how to improve the signed contract when necessary. Develop requests for external assistance such as consulting services. Keep in touch the contractors for pro-active resolution of problems. Make sure contractual documents such as acceptance certificates are signed on time in due form. Collect data on performance of contract from other departments of the company and the contractor. Check plan vs fact in terms of contract performance, develop risk mitigation suggestions. Compile contract progress reports for the project manager. Input data on claims management into corporate claim management systems. Contract change management activity. Supervise correspondence with the contractor on contractual issues. Advise project team members on contract. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Higher education in law/economics/project management. Between 3 to 5 years of job experience as a contract manager. Good communicator, team leader, and with an active attitude taking full ownership of his/her tasks and area of responsibility. Solution-oriented with a pragmatic approach and readiness to closely work with colleagues and stakeholders, internally and externally. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and make clear decisions. Capable of getting things done in a corporate environment through following corporate business decisions workflow. Knows typical forms of contracts for engineering, procurement, construction, turnkey (FIDIC preferably), i.e. understands the terms and definition, has experience in such types of contracts. Knows principles of currency risks management, project finance, URDG758. Skills of team work in international projects, including direct communication, correspondence, filing claims in English/Chinese/Russian. Knows how to manage project stakeholders. Knows typical legal regulations, which govern contracts for engineering, procurement, construction, turnkey in Russia and/or China. Knows typical requirements to project management. Applies Incoterms terms and conditions. Knows international taxation principles. Speaks English/Russian, English/Chinese (HSK 5-6). Speaking all three languages is an advantage. The candidate shall speak these languages fluently, writing skills in Russian/English should be enough to negotiate and draft contract terms and conditions.
