About the role

This role involves managing the import of raw fish materials and related goods. You will coordinate with suppliers on purchase agreements, delivery schedules, and receipt planning, while ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate. You will monitor import and storage costs against targets, assess quality of raw materials by batch, and manage communications with suppliers regarding payments and quality issues. The role also covers occasional imports of other goods such as packaging, seasonings, and machinery.

Key responsibilities

• Track purchase agreements for raw fish materials from suppliers
• Monitor delivery schedules from suppliers and plan receipt coordination with available capacity
• Verify documentation and certificates related to raw fish materials; follow up with suppliers if incomplete or incorrect
• Ensure import and storage costs for raw fish materials remain within target budgets
• Summarise quality results of raw fish materials by batch, notify suppliers, and process final payments
• Manage occasional imports of other goods including packaging, seasonings, and machinery
• Work Monday to Saturday (17 Saturday holidays per year)

About you

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 3 years of experience in import documentation and/or international procurement
• Experience importing consumer goods and FMCG products
• Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing) with negotiation skills
• Proficient in computer programs
• Able to start immediately (will be given special consideration)
