• Analyze China and global market needs, and translate them into software and digital system design concepts.
• Lead the development, testing, and deployment of software and digital systems for medical device products, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Participate in new product development processes, identify technical risks, and provide innovative solutions to support successful product launches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including T&D (technical & development), manufacturing, regulatory affairs, and marketing to drive digital system integration and project success.
• Monitor and apply the latest trends and technologies in software engineering and digital systems, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with external partners, including technology suppliers and certification bodies.
• Identify and leverage the innovation potential of Chinese technology providers, selecting suitable partners for strategic collaboration with Zeiss.
• Utilize Chinese suppliers to deliver innovative digital solutions to the global market through OEM, ODM, and other partnership models.
• Assist project managers in project management according to the PSGP process, communicating and coordinating with global VTS colleagues to ensure smooth project implementation.
• Research, develop, and integrate cutting-edge AI technologies and applications into software and digital systems to enhance VTS product capabilities and innovation.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, proactively applying relevant innovations to maintain competitive advantage in the market.
• Complete other tasks assigned by superiors. Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in software engineering, computer science, electronics, or related technical fields.
• Experience: Over 5 years of experience in software or digital system development for medical devices or related industries；Familiar with medical device software lifecycle management, cybersecurity, and related regulatory requirements (such as ISO 13485 and IEC 62304).. Overseas work experience is considered an advantage.
• Skills:  Strong logical thinking, learning ability, and innovation capability.  Ability to work under pressure and adapt to multi-task and complex project environments.  Excellent communication, coordination, and project management skills.  Strong sense of responsibility, positive work attitude, honesty, integrity, confidence, and optimism.  Good English communication skills, able to use English as a working language. 

 Demonstrates cross-disciplinary technical integration skills, enabling effective collaboration between hardware and software development.  Familiar with digital system architecture design, capable of system-level planning and optimization.
