About the role

Procurement Manager role responsible for managing procurement and sourcing of raw materials, consumables, and packaging for the food industry.

Key responsibilities

• Study, monitor, and forecast market conditions regarding raw materials, packaging, and consumables; identify new sources to prepare for supply shortages
• Manage and oversee procurement and sourcing of raw materials, consumables, and packaging
• Negotiate contracts, build strategic relationships, and evaluate performance of domestic suppliers
• Control product quality, ensure timely delivery, and maintain supply chain stability
• Provide advice and guidance to subordinates on work issues and identify prevention and resolution approaches
• Review operational procedures, work practices, problems, and departmental KPIs to ensure alignment with quality policy objectives
• Develop cost management strategies and drive cost reduction projects
• Prepare and propose annual departmental budget; monitor, verify, and control budget usage

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement or sourcing
• Experience in the food industry
• Demonstrated experience and track record in supplier negotiation, partner relationship management, and vendor evaluation
• Strong skills in cost management, data analysis, and numerical calculation
• Able to work on Saturdays
