About the role

This position is responsible for managing all accounting and finance operations of the company, working closely with management and overseeing 1 accounting assistant to ensure operations are conducted correctly, transparently, and in compliance with Thai accounting standards and tax laws. The company processes approximately 350–400 accounting transactions per month, and we are looking for someone who can plan work, analyse data, and develop accounting systems for greater efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and control all accounting operations of the company
• Supervise and provide guidance to the accounting assistant
• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
• Reconcile bank accounts
• Prepare and close monthly and annual financial statements
• Prepare financial reports and cash flow reports for management review
• Prepare and file tax forms such as VAT and withholding tax
• Coordinate with auditors, accounting firms, and relevant government agencies
• Ensure operations comply with accounting standards and tax laws
• Develop and improve accounting systems and internal controls

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
• Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written
• Proficient in QuickBooks
• Knowledge of Thai accounting standards and tax laws
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and capable of analytical work
• Leadership qualities, able to plan work and solve problems effectively
• Experience managing accounting teams or as an accounting supervisor will be given special consideration
• CPD or CPA certification will be given special consideration
