该职位来源于猎聘 有设计院背景，金矿背景优先 A Client-Side Lead Electrical Engineer acts as the owner's representative, overseeing engineering consultants (EP) and contractors (C) to ensure design, procurement, and construction align with project goals, budget, execution schedules, quality and safety standards.

This role focuses on technical assurance, technical risk management, and ensuring electrical systems (HV and LV, processing plant and infrastructure) are fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership: Lead electrical and power systems design reviews, technical evaluations for processing plants and associated infrastructure and decision making for lay outs and equipment selections. Owner’s Representative: Provide client-side oversight of EP Consultants and C Contractors, managing engineering quality and scope compliance. Project Phases: Lead electrical scope from Basic Engineering Design (BED) through to Detailed Engineering Design (DED) and procurement and construction execution. Brownfield Upgrades: Manage electrical upgrades to operating plant and infrastructure without disrupting production. Package Management: Manage tender packages, procurement, and delivery of major electrical equipment from concept to commissioning. Risk & Quality Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensure compliance with mining regulations, and conduct safety audits (e.g., HAZOP, design safety). Safety and Standards: Ensure all electrical installations comply with regulatory statutory functions and company safety standards Collaboration: Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams (process, civil, structural, mechanical) to ensure integrated solutions.

Construction Management: Moving from project design and procurement to on-site construction support, monitoring contractor performance, and troubleshoot installation. Project Controls: Monitor project schedules and budgets for mechanical packages, reporting progress to project management.

Requirements and Qualifications Experience: Minimum 10 to 15 years’ experience in mining/minerals processing projects, preferably within gold processing plants.

Expertise: Deep understanding of power system modelling, low voltage / high voltage systems, instrumentation, and control systems, within large minerals processing plants. Leadership: Experience leading teams of engineers and designers and managing design and constructability interfaces with Vendors and Construction Contractors. Soft Skills: Strong communication skills to liaise between project stakeholders, contractors, and site operational teams. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Power Systems Engineering or related field.
