• Analyze China and global market needs, and translate them into hardware system design concepts.
• Lead the development, testing of hardware systems for medical device products, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations， safety and EMCstandards.
• Participate in new product development processes, identify technical risks, and provide innovative solutions to support successful product launches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, regulatory affairs, and marketing to drive hardware system integration and project success.
• Monitor and apply the latest trends and technologies in hardware engineering, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with external partners, including technology suppliers and certification bodies.
• Identify and leverage the innovation potential of Chinese technology providers, selecting suitable partners for strategic collaboration with Zeiss.
• Utilize Chinese suppliers to deliver innovative hardware solutions to the global market through OEM, ODM, and other partnership models.
• Assist project managers in project management according to the PSGP process, communicating and coordinating with global VTS colleagues to ensure smooth project implementation.
• Complete other tasks assigned by superiors. Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in optics, electronics, mechanical, biomedicalengineering, or related technical fields.
• Experience: Over 5 years of experience in hardware or system development for medical devices or related industries, experience with optometry and optical devices is a plus;. Overseas work experience is also considered an advantage.
• Skills:  Strong logical thinking, learning ability, and innovation capability.  Ability to work under pressure and adapt to multi-task and complex project environments.  Excellent communication, coordination, and project management skills.  Strong sense of responsibility, positive work attitude, honesty, integrity, confidence, and optimism.  Good English communication skills, able to use English as a working language.  Familiar with China and international standards in the medical device industry, including the ISO 13485 development process and ISO 14971 risk management process;  Knowledgeable in supply chain management, capable of establishing and maintaining good cooperative relationships with suppliers and certification bodies.
