About the role

Manage and supervise daily back office activities including securities/bond settlement, corporate action, client fund transfers, IPO, and placement for Hong Kong stock market. Liaise with front office, banks, brokers and external authorities to follow up settlement related issues.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily back office activities including securities/bond settlement, corporate action, client fund transfers, IPO, and placement
• Liaise with front office, banks, brokers and external authorities to follow up settlement related issues
• Ensure operational procedures comply with relevant regulatory requirements and all transactions are processed accurately and efficiently
• Develop and implement robust settlement policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Implement and maintain effective internal control in the operating process to minimize risk exposure
• Participate in system enhancements, UAT and perform ad hoc assignments and duties as assigned

About you

• Degree holder in Finance, Business Administration or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years related experience in brokerage industry
• Familiar with relevant compliance rules and regulations, OTC products, CCASS, and CTM operations
• Great communications skill, interpersonal skill and a team player
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure and multiple priorities
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
