About the role

The Marketing Director is responsible for managing marketing strategy in alignment with the organization's business direction and objectives. This role involves developing annual marketing budgets, controlling expenditures according to established criteria, and overseeing all marketing operations to ensure efficiency and goal achievement.

Key responsibilities

• Establish policies, guidelines, and procedures for marketing operations
• Make decisions and approve marketing budget allocation
• Manage, advise, and oversee marketing team performance in accordance with established work plans
• Develop strategic plans for sales promotion and marketing activities to support company sales targets
• Plan and prepare marketing budgets, manage budget utilization for maximum efficiency, and drive marketing activities to achieve objectives
• Prepare marketing reports including actual budget expenditure summaries and sales promotion activity results
• Conduct marketing surveys, analyze findings, present insights, and prepare summary reports for management
• Build brand awareness among target customer groups
• Monitor and oversee team performance to ensure efficient operations

About you

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, or related field
• 10 years or more of marketing experience
• At least 4 years of experience at managerial level
• Ability to work under pressure and within tight timeframes
• Strategic analytical thinking using reliable reference data
• Leadership qualities with responsibility and decisive decision-making ability
• Strong teamwork capability
• Ability to prioritize and manage problem-solving
• Personnel management capability
• Knowledge of online and offline marketing
