About the role

CHOTTANA IMPORT-EXPORT COMPANY LIMITED is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team on a full-time basis in Bang Khun Thian, Bangkok. This is a pivotal position that will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of electrical systems and components that support our import-export operations. The Electrical Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of our electrical infrastructure whilst driving innovation and technical excellence across the organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Design and develop electrical systems, circuits, and components for various applications within the company's operations
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical analyses to support project planning and decision-making
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, drawings, and specifications for electrical projects
• Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with broader operational requirements
• Monitor and optimise energy consumption to improve operational efficiency
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and reliability

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution
• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering or a closely related field
• Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, circuit theory, and power systems
• Proficiency with electrical design software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools
• Solid understanding of safety standards and electrical codes relevant to industrial and commercial applications
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all technical work
• Preferred: Experience in import-export or manufacturing industries; certification in electrical safety or specialised areas such as power distribution or renewable energy systems
