该职位来源于猎聘 有设计院背景，金矿背景优先 A Client-Side Lead Control System and Automation Engineer acts as the owner's representative, overseeing the automation, instrumentation, and control system architecture designed and implemented by engineering design consultants. This role ensures the process plant automation (PLC/SCADA/DCS) is secure, functional, and aligns with long-term operational efficiency and production goals. This role focuses on technical assurance, technical risk management, and ensuring control and automation systems (processing plant and infrastructure) are fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities Design & Vendor Oversight: Review and approve basic engineering and detailed design documents for control philosophy, instrumentation, PLC/DCS architectures, and networking, ensuring compliance with standards and technical specifications. Owner’s Representative: Provide client-side oversight of EP Consultants and C Contractors, managing engineering quality and scope compliance. Commissioning & Testing: Oversee Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) to validate control system logic, loop tuning, and interlocks (e.g., in grinding, leaching, elution circuits). System Integration & Security: Ensure seamless integration of the process control system (OT) with IT systems, including historian integration (e.g., Aveva PI) and adherence to industrial cybersecurity standards (e.g., IEC 62443) Site-Based Support: Provide on-site troubleshooting during the installation and commissioning phases of critical equipment such as mills, conveyors, pumps, and crushers. Operations Handover: Ensure all control systems are ready for operations, including updating P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and functional descriptions, ensuring a smooth transition to the site maintenance team. Risk & Quality Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensure compliance with mining regulations, and conduct safety audits (e.g., HAZOP, design safety). Safety and Standards: Ensure all electrical installations comply with regulatory statutory functions and company safety standards Collaboration: Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams (process, civil, structural, mechanical) to ensure integrated solutions.

Project Controls: Monitor project schedules and budgets for mechanical packages, reporting progress to project management.

Requirements and Qualifications Experience: Minimum 10 to 15 years’ experience in mining/minerals processing projects, preferably within gold processing plants.

Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience with SCADA/DCS/PLC systems (e.g., Rockwell Automation/PlantPAx, Siemens PCS7, ABB, Honeywell Experion). Mining Automation Knowledge: Deep understanding of gold extraction processes (crushing, grinding, flotation, cyanidation) and advanced process control. Leadership: Experience leading teams of engineers and designers and managing design interfaces with Vendors and Construction Contractors. Soft Skills: Strong communication skills to liaise between project stakeholders, contractors, and site operational teams. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Control Systems Engineering or related field.
