About the role

Leadchina Intelligence is seeking a dedicated After-Sales Commissioning Engineer to join our technical services team in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive exceptional support during the installation, configuration, and optimisation of our solutions. As an After-Sales Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for diagnosing technical issues, performing system calibration, and providing on-site technical assistance to guarantee seamless product deployment and customer satisfaction. Your work will directly impact client relationships and the successful implementation of our cutting-edge technologies across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, configuration, and commissioning of equipment and systems for clients
• Conduct comprehensive system testing and diagnostics to ensure all components function according to specifications
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions to resolve problems promptly
• Provide technical training and guidance to client personnel on system operation and maintenance
• Prepare detailed commissioning reports and documentation for each project
• Maintain accurate records of all service visits, repairs, and equipment modifications
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and expectations
• Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex technical challenges and share findings
• Perform preventative maintenance and conduct system performance optimisation
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures during all on-site work

What we're looking for

• Technical diploma, vocational qualification, or equivalent certification in electronics, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field
• Proven experience as a technician or commissioning engineer, ideally within the manufacturing, automation, or technology sectors
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues independently
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese; Malay language skills are advantageous
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively whilst meeting project deadlines
• Willingness to travel to client sites as required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and software systems
• Customer service orientation with the ability to build positive client relationships
