该职位来源于猎聘 Position Description and Responsibility: This Dow Consumer Solutions (DCS) Advanced Elastomer R&D lab technician will be responsible for performing sample preparation by using different type of compounding mixers independently, together with various product performance testing for the made silicone sample, to support the R&D Engineers to achieve first-hand lab finding/learnings for future formulation development and optimization. The candidate will be also required to operate/manage lab equipment/material safely with good 5S.

• Be able to catch up and deeply understand the safety requirement of the lab, strictly follow the company discipline for lab safety and EHS requirement.
• EHS and 5S focal point role to lead the lab EHS integration implementation, take responsibility for EHS compliance within team, identify and improve workplace safety, review, develop and manage the lab SOP, SKP, SOC, PTA and other policy documentations and 5S improvement.
• Be capable of independent operating for all equipment required for experiment needs. Flexible to communicate with other departments to share equipment for use.
• Support FS/FL on multiple technologies (silicone sealant, silicone foam, LSR, HCR, etc.) with excellent experimental experience and great record of lab work, problem solving, data analysis and good English writing skill.
• Closely communicate with Engineers to better understand experiment Safety requirement/ performance targets/operation steps, etc. for good experiment delivery, as well as closely monitoring/communicating experiment findings with optimization ideas provided to Engineers to better innovation result.
• Be responsible for lab equipment and facility maintenance, calibration and management, as well as support the lab new equipment and facility design, purchasing, construction, installation, commissioning and RTO.

• An associate degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer or other related science discipline with lab experience in chemical industry.
• Hands-on experience in lab operating with innovation ideas, maintaining and troubleshooting lab equipment and instruments.
• Solid communication skills and interaction with Process R&D Engineers to ensure the on-time delivery of all the project tasks of high quality.
• Be able to work in a team-oriented manner to accomplish performance objectives.
• Be accountable and demonstrate good working ethics, integrity and ownership.
• Good English for written communication.
• Good data analysis, results summary and problem solving.
• Drive for results, Quick response on safety improvement and EHS integration implementation.
