该职位来源于猎聘 A Technical Engineer for Marine Cranes provides specialized engineering expertise to ensure the safe, efficient, and inspection, testing, repair and overhaul of maritime lifting equipment. Job Summary The Technical Engineer serves as a subject matter expert for marine cranes and handling systems. This role involves troubleshooting complex mechanical and hydraulic issues, overseeing repair projects. Key Responsibilities

• Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide remote and on-site technical guidance for crane installations, repairs, and complex mechanical or hydraulic failures. Provide technical support to service department, parts department and workshop department
• Service Reports, Repair & Parts Proposals: Edit, format & compile technician’s service report. Follow up with customer on recommended repairs and required spare parts.
• Spare Parts: Assist parts department in identifying and quoting spare parts. Cross reference spare parts. Find alternate solutions for obsolete parts and assemblies.
• Project Coordination: Liaise with clients to understand their requirements. Preparation of project specific documentation such as repair scope, method statements & risk analysis, drawings, diagrams and work procedures etc., required to carry out the work. Carry out journal duty at weekends and public holydays as needed. Required Qualifications
• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Marine Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a service engineer or technical engineer, specifically with electro-hydraulic marine cranes. Core Skills
• Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of hydraulic systems, PLC and analogue electronic crane control systems, mechanical components, reading complex technical drawings. Must be familiar with technical manuals form leading crane manufacturers, such as MacGregor, TTS, NMF, Liebherr, Mitsubishi & IHI.
• Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to conduct root cause analysis for equipment failure and perform technical risk assessments.
• Adaptability: Ability to handle 24/7 on-call duties and serves onboard vessels in China and abroad.
• English Communication: Good verbal and written skills to talk with vessel crews to executive service jobs on board, and complete service report in the end.
