• Lead Portfolio Management Project set-up: Role assignment and RASIC, Customer interface definition, Meeting landscape Buget planning in WBS level: HC cost, sample cost, test cost Product technical feasibility: Product base selection, Product scope and boundary, Change scope Balance different aspects with project core team in regards of design to cost, design to CO2e, design for circularity, design for manufacturing, design to quality Project process & tool decision
• Lead Project Management MAN.3 Define and deploy engineering project management strategy/processes within conformity of Pkit, A-Spice, Safety and Law requirements Lead the R&D core team, Cluster Head (mandatory) & Function Lead (optional) Lead the dedicated R&D project team, solve the issue between Clusters, between expertise areas, or for taskforce Collaborate and support PM in project timing, quality and budget, ensure R&D part within target Release planning and monitoring into Cluster level Lead the engineering Gate (check point) review, product release review and approval Participate design release review and function release review Schedule monitoring in Cplace into Cluster and function level Demand the enginering work products according to the schedule Demand decisions from PM or Steering Committee Handle escalation and esclate to higher level
• Lead Product Release SPL.2 Release enginnering project meets planned GDPEP Gate Internal release product meets planned product maturity External release product meets planned customer delivery
• Overall coordinate engineering progress SYS SWE HWE
• Overall coordinate Problem Resolution Management SUP.9 Summarize project and technical problem and derives measures as needed
• Overall coordinate Risk Management MAN.5 Prevent project and technical risks and derives measures as needed Required skills and knowledge
• Detailed knowledge and experience in project management.
• Knowledge of automotive SPICE and IATF 16949.
• Knowledge of functional safety and security (e.g. ISO 26262, IEC 61508).
• Knowledge of automotive standards.
• Deep knowledge in system, hardware, mechanic and/or software engineering.
• Knowledge of the review methods, experience in performing reviews.
• Good communication skills as well as the ability to work in a team.
• Knowledge of tools allocated to the role.
• Overall decision right for product and functional concept on (sub-) system level
• Project-specific decisions, resource and cost allocation based on priority
• Negotiation skill to balance different aspects of project
