Glasgow-based Japanese-English Interpreter Wanted

We are looking for an experienced Japanese-English consecutive interpreter for a potential international conference assignment at the Scottish Event Campus in Glasgow.

Dates:

 6 October 2026, 09:00–18:00

 7 October 2026, 09:00–18:00

 8 October 2026, 09:00–12:00

The assignment will involve interpreting during presentations, Q&A sessions, conference sessions, exhibition activities, and professional networking. The subject area is water supply and related infrastructure.

Requirements:

Based in or near Glasgow

International conference interpreting experience

Strong Japanese-English consecutive interpreting skills

Willingness to prepare technical water-related terminology

Availability for an online briefing before the assignment

Ability to comply with confidentiality and information-security requirements

This opportunity is subject to final contract award and confirmation.
